Internet Bidding

Currently all of our Auctions are being operated online. We have an easy-to-use portal with a wealth of to read information available. This is our most common form of Auction. Before the auction starts, we run an AML (Anti Money Laundering.)

Our bidders will be required to register via Auction Passport before bidding. This can easily be done on our website before the Auction day, but please leave BLANK minutes for this before the beginning of the auction.

In the Room Auctions

This is the most traditional type of Auction. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we are not currently running these types of Auctions. When we can have In the Room Auctions, you can bid in person if you can attend on the day. You will be able to collect a copy of our addendum sheet, for any changes to our online catalogue and you may have to pre-register to bid.

We always have members of our Property Auction Hub team on hand to help if needed! You will then need to collect a copy of the catalogue; this will help you to follow the Auctioneer easier.

Proxy Bid

If you cannot attend one of our Auctions, that is fine you can choose to bid by proxy. All you will have to do in this case is fill in one of our Proxy Bid forms, that enables our team to act on your behalf.

We will then bid for yourself up to a maximum amount that you have set before the Auction. For example, if you have authorised a maximum bid of £130,000 and if on the day of the auction the highest other bids reach below this, congratulations you have won the Property!

Telephone Bid

Sometimes, you may not be able to be in the Auction room in person but be available during the time, do not worry you can bid by telephone. You will need to complete our Telephone Bid form and make sure you are available during this time.

A member of our Property Auction Hub team will ring you just before the Property you’re interested in comes up and let you know what the auctioneer is saying and then you can tell them how much you wish to bid.
